Summer Cloverbuds Project Day
- Campbell County Cooperative Extension OfficeCome join Campbell County 4-H this summer for some summer fun! Participants will complete at least two projects, one to take home and one that will be displayed at the Alexandria Fair in the Exhibit Hall. Participants must have completed kindergarten-third grade in order to participate. Fun memorable, hands-on, learning experiences. For youth who have completed kindergarten-third grade. Be sure to register for only one Cloverbud program each month. Both programs will offer the same activities.
Paper Mache Masks
- Campbell County Cooperative Extension OfficeJoin us at the Campbell County Extension Office where we will construct a mask made of a milk jug, strips of newspaper, and glue! This is a two day class and participants must attend both days (registration is for both days). On July 8, we will construct our masks. On July 11, we will return to paint and decorate them.

4-H Forestry
- Campbell County Environmental Education CenterJoin us at the Environmental Education Center (near AJ Jolly Park) to take a hike through the trails and collect leaves for 4-H forestry fair entries. We will be making leaf prints and leaf collections. In order to complete their entries, participants must attend both days (June 12 AND July 10). Dress for the outdoors. Weather may cancel. All participants must be registered 4-H members, ages 9-17.

- Campbell County Cooperative Extension OfficeJoin us for a week full of exploration of our world in a variety of hands-on activities that are sure to have you feeling like a scientist! Participants should expect to show up each day ready and willing to perform experiments both indoors and outdoors to learn from a variety of different topics!
4-H Entomology Club - July
- Campbell County Cooperative Extension OfficeLearn about the fascinating world of insects and create an insect collection for the state and county fairs! There are two collection options: digital (photography) or pinned specimens. Attendance at every meeting is important, but not required. We will be learning how to capture, identify, pin, and label insects for display.
4-H Iris Folding
- Campbell County Cooperative Extension OfficeIris Folding is a simple paper folding technique using a spiral pattern. When complete, the center of the design forms a shape similar to the iris of a camera lens. Attendees must be registered 4-H members, ages 9-17.
4-H Paper Quilling
- Campbell County Cooperative Extension OfficePaper quilling involves rolling long, thin strips of paper around a special tool to form shapes that can be combined to make 3-D art. Students will learn/review basic coil shapes and how to use them to create an image.
